Today we went to COUSINS ISLAND!

We explored the shoreline finding tons of cool creatures. We saw lots of hermit crabs, crabs, sea stars, even got to see some shrimp! The kids had a last using nets in the water and catching the shrimp and hermit crabs. We found a lot of pretty shells and cool looking rocks. We got to learn about Sea Stars and how they use sea water as their blood! We watched a couple hermit crabs playing together in the water. The kids (as well as the teachers) enjoyed collecting shells!!

 

AM SNACK: Trail mix

LUNCH: Tuna salad sandwich (egg salad for those who can’t have tuna)

Oranges

PM SNACK: Crackers & Hummus
