The theme for the week is the letter A, Apples and Autumn. During circle time we talked about words that start with the letter A and the parts of the apple. We sang along to “Way up high in an Apple Tree”. We read the book ” Ten Apples up on top”. After circle we traced out our head and shoulders. We colored in our hair, eyes, nose and mouth. Then put apples on top with the letters of our name. A lot of giggles of how silly it is to have apples on our head. The kids also did a lot of counting to 10.

Am snack: water bottles, cereal and honey dew

Lunch: waffles, corn, yogurt, apple slices and milk/almond milk

Pm snack: water bottles, cheese and crackers
