Oh a turtle searching we have been. Yesterday our turtle Chocolate escaped from our outside enclosure. We have looked everywhere on the property. We are using this to teach many lessons. Such as pet safety, being responsible, how animals will adapt to a different surrounding .etc
We earned a special ice cream treat for all our hard work searching and keep a positive outlook. Oh and of course for the creative stories on where/why Chocolate escaped to. We will continue to search.
Today we read The Lorax by Dr. Seuss . We counted to 25. We attempted to make play dough! We sang and danced to the hokey pokey, the wheels on the bus and animals are sleeping. We worked on some community helper jobs. Asking and answering questions such as
Who is this?
What type of tools does this person need to do their job?
What do they sell, make, create, discover?
What do you think is the hardest part of this persons job?
Am snack: Yogurt, granola and water
Lunch: Egg Salad sandwich, carrots, banana’s and milk
Pm snack: Ice pops , apples and water
