We traveled to the library today. Story time was quite exciting! We read 4 books with the librarian and then each chose a book to bring back to Ready Set Go!. Ask your child what book they choose?
In morning circle we talked about Germs and more Germs. We talked about covering our mouths when we sneeze and cough. We created a Germ Keeper with tissues and paper plates. We also learned how to sign the letter E, eye, elephant, elevator. We sang the ABC’s, Leaves are Falling and 5 Monkeys jumping on the bed. We read The Plane and Row Row the Boat. Worked on patterns with bats and cats today. Along with searching our the color orange and black.
We played outside for an hour this morning.
Am snack : Cheese, bananas and water
Lunch: chicken nuggets, bread, cucumbers, oranges and milk
Pm snack: blueberry muffins

Today was a very busy day. Our morning circle consisted of :
Morning greeting, Calendar, Weather Song, Leaves are falling, Hokey pokey. We learned the letter D in sign language. We created some leaf rubbing with crayons on to the letter D. We created a classroom pumpkin with our hand prints. We decided we would try some of our math skills while we baked Lemon Poppy seed muffins. We read Get to Work Trucks by Allison Carter and the Pig Scramble by Mr. Kinney.
We rode our bikes in the driveway and explored the outside for about 2 hours this morning.
Am snack: Yogurt, granola and water
Lunch: Chicken Salad sandwiches, cucumbers, oranges and milk
Pm snack: Lemon poppy seed muffins and water

Oh to Pumpkin Valley Farm we went! Such a beautiful fall day. We were able to enjoy the weather outside. We jumped on the air balloon, had duck races, played in the corn bins and enjoyed the hayride to the pumpkin patch. We were able to pick our very own pumpkins. Some where even still on the vines! Your child picked their own pumpkin so it is extra special.
AM SNACK: CHEESE, APPLES AND MILK
LUNCH: TUNA SANDWICHES, CUCUMBERS, PEPPERS, ORANGES AND WATER
PM SNACK: RICE CAKES WITH HUMMUS AND WATER
TOMORROW WE WILL BAKE A TASTY FALL TREAT!

Tuesday are terrific! We traveled to the libary today. We were there for story time and a musical concert. We are still focusing on our community and how we can help make our community better.
Today we also worked on the letter D. The new colors of the month are Orange and Black. We enjoyed the weather outside for almost 2 hours this afternoon.
Am snack: Oatmeal blueberries and water
Lunch: Grill cheese, cucumbers, banana’s and milk
Pm snack: snack boxes and water

What an interesting Thursday! We have had a few sick friends here at RSG! Common symptoms seem to be are a low grade fever, runny nose, sore throat, bad cough. We will be disinfecting the and trying to get rid of germs!
Today we worked on lots of Halloween patterns, counting in nature. We continued to talk about important jobs in our community! Today we talked about doctors and nurses. how they help keep us healthy and things they do for us when we are sick. Did you know that doctors give us stickers to make us feel better?
We loaded up on vitiaman C today and fresh air and sunshine!
We played outside enjoying the weather for a little more than 2 hours this morning. We worked really hard on sharing our dump trucks and taking turns.
Am snack: Ants on logs and water (peanut butter and celery with raisins
Lunch: english muffin pizzas, carrots, oranges and milk
Pm snack: rice cakes, hummus and water
